Shillong is the 330th most populous city in India with a population of 143,229 according to the 2011 census. It is said that the rolling hills around the town reminded the British of Scotland.
Hot-air-balloon
A hot air balloon consists of a large envelope bag with a basket suspended below. The basket holds a flame used to heat the air inside the balloon through an opening. Therefore, a lift is generated by the heat produced.
